Buster sat by and did what he does best at Station 5.......bark orders from his Easy Boy Recliner. 

Thanks for the help Buster but I think I can cram my large self all up in here.

 And here's Yo Bob's finished project!!  My very own sewing/crafting table for my utility room.  He's a genius!



With a place to put my threads and bobbins just like Grandma Ruth used to have

 Here's the best part.......Wait for it.........

 Ta-Da!  He built in a pull out ironing board.  How cool is that!!!

He left the bottom sections open so I could put cute baskets to hold Grandma Ruth's old sewing patterns.  You should see some of the old patterns for the clothes she used to make me and Shawn.  Now I have a neat place to store and display them.

The other side will hold Grandma Ruth yarns that I rolled into balls.

 I found one of Grandma Ruth's boy pj patterns and one girls pj patterns and I framed them and hung them above my new table.  The boy pattern even has her writing on it! 

Yo Bob taught me that the best place to buy knobs is Target.  I bought some beautiful glass knobs for the drawers in the middle and the drawers on either side have the same glass on their handles.

Happy Birthday Timmy

Happy Birthday to my Timmy who is now ankle deep into his 40's

 He humored his family last night by allowing us all to take a trip to the new KOBE for dinner.  As you can see, he was overwhelmed with delight.

Our chef, Mexican Mike (yes Shirlee, your Mexcan Mike) prepared Tim this heart shaped rice birthday cake.

Billie Netz

(May 14, 1946 - February 13, 2008)

MORGAN – Billie Georgette Neuteboom Netz passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 13, 2008 with her husband, her kids and her sister by her side.

She was born May 14, 1946 to George Neuteboom and Billie Santee. Billie grew up in Morgan, Utah and graduated from Morgan High School and cosmetology school.

Billie married Bobby Lee Netz on June 14, 1968. Bob and Billie were members of the Morgan County Search and Rescue where she enjoyed attending Posse conventions, pistol shoots, chuck wagon breakfasts and demolition derbies.

Billie cherished any time that was spent with her tight-knit family. She was her grandkids’ best babysitter and number one cheerleader. She rarely missed any of their games, concerts or programs. Billie was especially proud of all her firefighter guys. We threw the best family BBQs, birthday cake and ice cream, 4th of July and Christmas Eve parties. She was looking forward to cooking a hamburger at the property and taking a ride in the ranger.

She made sure we knew that she counted on our sense of humor and positive attitudes to get her through the rough times. We were very lucky to get to spend the last few days together as a family, right by her side—she wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. She has left us with a very special memory of how she had us all laughing at the hospital with her middle of the night talk about helicopters, falling off the floor, and the parade wave.

Billie’s family would like to thank Dr. Vincent Hansen and his staff for the kind, compassionate care she received during her treatment. She loved the ladies in the office and truly looked forward to her chemo days, which she considered her “social life.”

Surviving are her husband, Bob; daughter, Stacy and her husband, Tim Lafitte; son, Shawn and his wife, Tiffany; grandchildren: Lydon, Aaron, Brennon and Chaston. She is also survived by her mother, Billie Santee; her sister, Jill Carrigan and family; and her brother, Lyle Neuteboom and family; as well as members of her special California family.

It's been four years and it still SUCKS!!

 But we ate

And  despite his annoyance with the blog-camera, we had a good time and he's takin good care of me.
